Fort Worth Urogynecology
Pelvic floor care, and a place to finally talk about it.
Bladder leakage, prolapse, and other pelvic floor problems are common, treatable, and nothing to be embarrassed about. This is a place you can finally talk about them — and get the expert help to feel like yourself again.
A practice built entirely around pelvic floor health.
Fort Worth Urogynecology is led by Dr. Christopher Ripperda and Dr. Kyle Norris — fellowship‑trained specialists in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. This is not a service we offer on the side. It is the whole of what we do.
That focus means deeper expertise, a wider range of options, and a team that has seen your concern many times before. We take the time to listen, explain, and build a plan that fits your life — starting with the least invasive approach that will work.
The things people are afraid to bring up.
If you recognize yourself here, you're in exactly the right place — and you're far from alone. We have these conversations every day.
Urinary incontinence
Leaking with activity, coughing, or laughing (stress), or with sudden urges (urge) — including mixed patterns.
Learn about treatment →Overactive bladder
Frequency, urgency, and waking at night to urinate — often manageable without surgery.
Learn about treatment →Pelvic organ prolapse
Pressure, bulging, or the sensation that something is "falling," when pelvic organs shift out of place.
Learn about treatment →Recurrent UTIs
Infections that keep returning deserve a specialist's evaluation to find and address the underlying cause.
Learn about treatment →Bowel & fecal control
Difficulty controlling gas or stool (accidental bowel leakage) is more common than most realize — and treatable.
Learn about treatment →Bladder & pelvic pain
Chronic bladder pain, painful urination, and related pelvic discomfort, evaluated with care and discretion.
Learn about treatment →You don't have to live with it.
So many people quietly accept these symptoms as an unavoidable part of aging or of having children. They are not. With the right evaluation, most patients get meaningful relief — often with simple, non‑surgical care.
The least invasive option that works — first.
Our approach moves step by step. Many patients never need surgery; for those who do, we offer advanced, minimally invasive procedures.
Non‑surgical & office‑based
Pelvic floor physical therapy
Guided strengthening and retraining of the muscles that support the bladder and pelvic organs.
Behavioral & lifestyle care
Bladder training, fluid and diet guidance, and other proven first‑line strategies.
Pessary fitting
A simple, removable support device for prolapse — an effective, non‑surgical alternative.
Medications
Targeted therapies for overactive bladder and related symptoms, matched to you.
Bladder Botox & nerve therapies
Bladder injections and sacral neuromodulation for stubborn overactive bladder, urinary retention, and accidental bowel leakage.
Advanced surgical care
Robotic & minimally invasive surgery
We perform a high volume of robotic‑assisted procedures — including robotic sacrocolpopexy for prolapse — offering precise, durable repairs through small incisions with a faster, easier recovery.
Vaginal native tissue prolapse repair
Reconstructive repair that restores support and comfort using your own tissue, through a vaginal approach with no abdominal incisions.
Sling procedures for incontinence
Well‑established outpatient surgery to treat stress urinary incontinence.
Complex & revision cases
Subspecialty expertise for fistula, mesh concerns, and prior repairs that need a second look.
Coordinated, unhurried follow‑up
We stay with you after treatment to make sure you get the outcome you came for.

Things patients often ask.
Many patients come to us directly, while others are referred by their OB‑GYN or primary care physician. Some insurance plans require a referral — our office is happy to help you check what your plan needs.
Usually not. We start with the least invasive option that's likely to work — physical therapy, behavioral changes, a pessary, or medication. Surgery is one tool among many, and it's always your choice.
Absolutely. Everything you share is private and protected. Our team is used to these conversations and will always treat you with discretion and respect.
Fort Worth Urogynecology participates with most major insurance plans in the area, and both Dr. Ripperda and Dr. Norris are in-network. These include, among others: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Cigna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, Baylor Scott & White Health Plan, Southwestern Health Resources, WellMed, TRICARE, TriWest, MultiPlan / PHCS, Galaxy Health Network, HealthSmart, Sana Benefits, Contigo Health, ClaimDOC, CostPlus, and EVRY Health. We aren't in-network with every plan — some Marketplace/exchange and Medicaid plans in particular — and coverage can vary by your specific plan, so please call our office to confirm we're in-network for you before your visit.
A urogynecologist is a physician who has completed additional fellowship training in pelvic floor disorders — the bladder, bowel, and support problems that sit between gynecology and urology. It's a recognized subspecialty focused entirely on these conditions.
