About Dr. Norris
Dr. Kyle Norris is a fellowship‑trained specialist in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. He earned his medical degree at the University of Arkansas and completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at UT Southwestern / Parkland Hospital in Dallas, followed by his fellowship in Urogynecology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
He is board‑certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and board‑eligible in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.
Dr. Norris cares for women across the full range of pelvic floor conditions — urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, prolapse, recurrent UTIs, bowel control problems, and pelvic pain. His approach begins with understanding what bothers you most, then laying out the options from least to most invasive, including advanced reconstructive and robotic surgery when that is the right answer.
Why Dr. Norris chose this work
I went into medicine because I wanted to fix problems that meaningfully change someone’s day‑to‑day life. During residency I found that the women who came in with pelvic floor issues — leakage, prolapse, pressure, pain — often had been quietly dealing with them for years. Many had been told it was “just part of having kids” or “part of getting older.”
Urogynecology let me focus on those exact problems. The work is a mix of careful listening, precise diagnosis, and, when needed, reconstructive surgery that restores comfort and confidence. I like that most patients improve with straightforward options first, and that surgery, when it is the right choice, can be genuinely transformative. That combination of conversation and technical work is what keeps me engaged every day.
What a first visit is like
Your first visit is mainly a conversation. I want to understand what symptoms are bothering you most, how long they’ve been present, and what you’ve already tried. We’ll talk through your goals — whether that’s simply stopping leakage during exercise, feeling more comfortable during the day, or something more involved.
By the end of the appointment you’ll have a clear sense of the most likely diagnosis and the range of options, starting with the least invasive approaches. There is no pressure to decide anything on the spot. The goal is that you leave understanding the problem and knowing the path forward.

Outside the office
Born in Lubbock and shaped by my years in Arkansas, I found my way back to Texas through my wife and training, and have made Fort Worth home. In true Cowtown spirit, I now own multiple hats and pairs of cowboy boots.
My wife and I stay busy with our three children. Outside the office I enjoy cycling, traveling, and time outdoors with my family. Fort Worth has been a wonderful place to build both a practice and a life.
